Nairobi county women representative Hon.Esther Passaris on June 20 took to her social media platforms to dismiss the news that she has exited Azimio by calling The Azimio leader Raila Odinga telling him off.
The news were making rounds on social media after the legislator seemed to be inclined to Kenya Kwanza side as she has appeared to be supporting the agenda of the ruling coalition.
The news read, “I was elected to represent the people of Nairobi and not the Odinga family. I will not be pressured and he should stop calling me.I am still in Azimio and have been with ODM since 2007. I have supported Raila ever since and he in turn supported us as candidate. We must stand firm to ensure that our government has money. Where will we get the money if the government does not collect tax? People must be taxed so that the government can also fulfil its mandate,” Passaris responded
