Githunguri lawmaker Gathoni Wamuchomba says that she is ready to face the consequences of opposing the Finance bill 2023. The Mp went against her party’s (UDA) Stand on the Bill as she voted a No one the bill.
The bill was passed with The Side allied to President Ruto being the majority with 176 votes and Wamuchomba was among the 81 who voted No mostly MPs allied to the opposition.
Speaking in Inooro TV on Wednesday morning.
She said ,”Some are even peddling lies that I am an Azimio Mole in Kenya Kwanza but I am not. I am simply on the side of truth. But whatever this involves brings, whether they remove me from the part and send me to a by election, I am ready.”
She further said that she won’t change her position on the bill and that she will fight till the end.
