Azimio legislators led by Suna East Mp and Minority whip Junet Mohammed walked out of parliament yesterday during the proceedings when the CS Treasury took to the podium to Read the Financial budget for the year 2023/2024.

“Azimio does not believe in this budget. That is why we have walked out. It is not meant for the Kenyan people but for the Kenya Kwanza government. Until we get a budget premised on the Kenyan people, we will not participate,”Said the Suna East legislator.
Azimio has distanced itself from the Bill threatening to resume demonstrations to protest against what they term is as “Ruto’s punitive taxes.”
The CS went on to read the Ksh.3.8 Trillion budget when normalcy resumed.
